The story of the birth of Jesus is full of very messy episodes, a pregnant unmarried woman, a betrothed man who knows her child is not his, and a ruthless ruler. Imperfect people who can only be made perfect by the child that is born that first Christmas.

Yet, through these imperfect people, God brings about the most amazing miracle, the gift of the baby Jesus who would save all of mankind.
